Know More About Fairlie Quay Marina

The Largest Boat Shed in Scotland!

Originally a NATO Boom Defence Base built during the 1950’s at the height of the ‘Cold War’ to stop Russian submarines sneaking up the Clyde, Fairlie Quay was decommissioned during the 90’s and bought by Holt Leisure in 1995 when fonder Derek Holt saw the potential to turn the store sheds into Scotland’s largest indoor leisure boat storage facility.

Since then, Fairlie Quay has embarked upon a long term investment and redevelopment strategy that has created a facility catering for over 250 boats plus home to many on-site marine service companies that can provide everything from a minor repair or maintenance through to a complete rebuild.
